Risk Assessment  

The Intelligence Group assists companies in analyzing risks and weaknesses inherent in their existing corporate security practices. Through onsite reviews, we often discover security weaknesses and problems before others point them out the hard way.  We provide recommendations and, if desired, turnkey solutions for strengthening security and eliminating weaknesses.  Clients also ask us to evaluate physical security measures within their facilities in order to baseline the adequacy of their existing program.  

Compliance Auditing  

Development and compliance with appropriate policy and procedure is the cornerstone of any successful security program.  The greatest cause of security breaches today is not the failure of security devices or products, but weakness in their application and implementation.  The Intelligence Group develops, reviews and assesses compliance with policy and procedure designed to mitigate such risks.   Clients turn to us for such audits to eliminate the bias of internal stakeholders, and gain a fresh perspective on the particular issues they face.  

Evaluation of Standards and Policy  

As an adjunct to risk assessments and compliance audits, The Intelligence Group evaluates existing standards and policy utilized by clients.  For example, many organizations will adopt a standard equipment treatment, such as exit door alarming, or system procedures, such as security guard screening of visitors.  The Intelligence Group evaluates the adequacy of these standards and provides solutions where weaknesses or inefficiencies occur.  We evaluate the function of such standards within the client’s program, understanding that each piece is part of an overall system that must function in an integrated fashion.
